Editorial – Thérèse, you won't stop surprising us, and your parents too!
Throughout your posthumous life, we have seen you appear, very often where you were not expected. Once again, you gave us the proof through the show Secrets of history.
An event from its preparation : during the filming of the sequence in Alençon, we were very marked by the quality of the work and the discussions with the director and the cameraman.
An event in its broadcast : at the heart of a confinement which made nearly 3 million viewers available to watch it (live or replay).
An event finally in its content. The words that came up in our exchanges, qualifying Stéphane Bern and the entire report: Faithful, respectful, easy to follow, showing accuracy and delicacy, developing your vocation as one unveils a precious carpet to take the time to appreciate every detail...
And qualifying yourself: your face throughout these two hours revealed itself to those who did not know you but also to others: joyful, young, fresh, full of beauty, simplicity and sincerity...
You definitely know how to make yourself loved. But what was revealed above all was the depth of this love that inhabited your life. It led you to Carmel, where we appreciated being able to enter with you. A friend, a little removed from “the Church,” confided to us this morning that he was moved to tears! And a couple added: It made us want to re-read the Story of a Soul and my husband to read it.
Moreover, what has been given to discover "on a public channel, at prime time, in such a prestigious program", it's not not only you but also your parents through moments of great happiness (and hardship) in their lives, imbued with a lot of tenderness shared in the family and around them.
To the point that it all becomes “secret of this History” and that Stéphane Bern concluded by saying: “There is nothing more beautiful on earth than to live on love.”
