Light a candle and entrust your family!
During this Holy Week
During this Lenten season, the Louis and Zélie sanctuary in Alençon offers you a unique initiative: light one or more candles for your family, for one or more of its members, or for other families you know who are suffering or in pain. And why not do not light a candle during this Holy Week ?
Lighting a candle is an act of faith, prayer or gratitude addressed to the Lord. Our prayer which rises towards Heaven is symbolized and associated with the prayer of all those who, through this gesture, participate in this prayer effort for families!
By lighting these candles in the heart of the family sanctuary in Alençon, you entrust to the intercession of Saints Louis and Zélie Martin, and of Saint Thérèse their daughter, those people for whom you wish to pray more especially.
We will thus be able to raise to Heaven, from the humble family home of Louis and Zélie in Alençon, a glimmer of prayer for all families throughout the world.
How to do ?
The nuns of the sanctuary, the Carmelite messengers of the Holy Spirit, will light one or more vigils for you, or a novena, as close as possible to the reliquary of Thérèse and her parents.
Your particular intention will be placed in the heart of the cradle of Saint Thérèse, in the marital bedroom of Louis and Zélie, and entrusted during the intercessory vigils next month, thanks to the prayer of the Carmelites.
