Louis and Zélie in the Krakow region

Welcomed by the province of the Discalced Carmelites of Krakow (Poland), the relics of the holy spouses Louis and Zélie circulated between November 10 and December 5, 2025, alongside the relics of Thérèse, which came from Lisieux.

For Father Mariusz, a Carmelite friar, who transported and organized this mission to this region of Lesser Poland: “These relics were received in the monasteries of our province with great enthusiasm and immense joy among the faithful. Many came for personal prayer and for the daily and night vigils organized by our monasteries and those of the Carmelite sisters.”

During our pilgrimage, we focused primarily on the Little Way and on contemporary ways of integrating it into our daily lives in the 21st century.e century, in the age of social media and globalization. To this end, we organized conferences, theatrical and musical performances, an exhibition, as well as the sale of books and items related to Thérèse and her parents. The combination of the pilgrimage of Thérèse's relics with those of her parents naturally oriented the focus of this Polish mission towards the family and its role in the Church and in the contemporary world."
