Pentecost on our couple

Living as a couple in a “conjugal cenacle” under the impulse of the Holy Spirit.

Based on the salutary and driving character of faith in Christ, and in the transforming action of the Holy Spirit, you are invited to allow yourselves to be led by Christ and the Holy Spirit.

This weekend is an invitation to disconnect “reasonable reasoning” in order to welcome the gift of Christ and the Spirit given to spouses to renew their love and their covenant in depth.

Who is it for? For couples united by the sacrament of marriage, sacrament and lever of conjugal salvation, consecration in the Holy Spirit of the love and commitment of the spouses.

Intervenants: The weekend will be animated by the Priscilla and Aquila Communion.

Program

This weekend offers an alternation between:

• Liturgical celebrations and prayers of praise to expand one's heart in listening to the Holy Spirit, to be nourished by the sacraments;
• Exhortations to allow ourselves to be challenged by the Word of God and the Spirit of Life, so that they bear concrete fruit in our couple, and therefore in our family;
• Spaces of silence, of prayer, of exchange for two to take the time to speak to each other and to welcome each other in our wounds, our poverty, our graces, our blessings;
• The possibility of meeting a priest for listening and the sacrament of reconciliation;
• The availability of “praying” couples who provide a personalized prayer service for those entrusted to them. They freely offer listening and shared prayer to their “godchildren”.

All this in an atmosphere of prayer, joy and silence conducive to rereading life and listening to what the Lord says in the heart of each couple.

Detail: this weekend is not very suitable for an annual team spiritual retreat (END or others…)

• It is part of a personal process of renewal of his couple in the light of the Holy Spirit (approach specific to the Priscilla and Aquila Communion, which does not necessarily suit all couples);
• It offers neither the opportunity to exchange as a team, nor to deepen the spirituality of Saints Louis and Zélie.
