The Léonie House
Coming to Alençon independently
Located in the city center, a stone's throw from the Notre-Dame Basilica, Maison Léonie can accommodate independently (meals and sleeping arrangements) for holidays, weekends or even several days during the week outside of holidays, pilgrim families or established groups who know each other (END, households, sharing groups, or small parish groups, etc.), to discover at their own pace, the places of the Sanctuary of Alençon, the message of Saints Louis and Zélie, and the Norman sites linked to the history of the Martin family (Sées, Lisieux, the Alpes Mancelles, the banks of the Sarthe, Semallé, etc.)
The composition of the house
The house has fifteen beds, divided into six bedrooms, three bathrooms, a fitted kitchen, a living room, a dining room, a laundry room with a washing machine, an oratory, a pleasant garden, a garage, all in the city center.
On the ground floor: Fitted kitchen, dining room, living room, laundry room, toilet, garden, garage.
Au 1er Upstairs: bedroom (1 double bed, 1 single bed), bedroom (1 double bed), bedroom (3 single beds), small bathroom, large bathroom, toilet.
Au 2nd floor: oratory, bedroom (1 single bed), bedroom (3 single beds), bathroom with toilet, bedroom (1 double bed and 1 single bed).
A little bit of history
Located just a few meters from the home of Léonie Martin's godmother, Léonie Tifenne, the Léonie house welcomes you in the simple and humble spirit of the "good" Léonie. The Martin family loved to join "Aunt Bonbon," the kind-hearted godmother, in her home.
To occupy the premises, you will be asked for an offering of:
€350 for a weekend (1 night)
€550 for a weekend (2 nights)
€750 for a weekend and a public holiday (3 nights)
€950 for one week during school hours (4 days)
€1350 for one week during school holidays (7 days)
