Come as a couple

Pilgrimage to Alençon

In the footsteps of the first couple canonized together

Come and experience a spiritual journey as a couple at the sanctuary of Alençon in the footsteps of the holy spouses Martin, the first couple canonized together.

At their school, take a time of rejuvenation for your couple where they met, then married and where they had their children. Between professional, social and family life, let yourself be touched by their spirituality and their life with the motto “God first served”.

From engagement to preparation for marriage, to golden weddings and other wedding anniversaries, the sanctuary of Alençon is the place par excellence to come and confide in a couple. It is also a place of listening, welcoming and support for any couple in difficulty. Finally, for any separated or widowed person, it is also the place to be reborn at another stage, or to live in fidelity to their sacrament.

Wedding anniversary

In any season, as a couple or in the presence of your family and friends, celebrating your wedding anniversary in Alençon in the home of a couple of saints: Louis and Zélie Martin, is perhaps the most beautiful gift you can offer to your couple. To allow you to welcome each other in the best possible way and to accompany you in this process of thanksgiving, do not hesitate to make yourself known.

For your visit to Alençon, you will be given the opportunity to experience mass near the Martin's marital bedroom. If you make yourself known in advance, it can be celebrated for you, you can renew your marriage promises, and you will also be offered the opportunity to be blessed with the relics of the holy Martin spouses. After this time of thanksgiving, you will be able to receive a blessing document from your couple which will formalize your visit to the sanctuary of Alençon. Please also propose an offering in the boxes or at the terminals provided for this purpose. For all this, it is necessary to make yourself known by this form.

The Family of Louis and Zélie

Join the spiritual family of Louis and Zélie, the spiritual union of all the friends of Louis and Zélie Martin: of all those who recognize in them an example of Christian life.

Thus you enter the family of the Martin spouses, becoming their spiritual children and responding to the desire of Saint Zélie: “I wanted to have many children in order to raise them for Heaven. » They then guide you to Jesus, the Virgin Mary and Saint Joseph. This is why all the members consecrate themselves daily to the Holy Family.
