Louis and Zélie: support for today's couples
If the Equipes Notre Dame movement had existed, no doubt Louis and Zélie would have been part of it. They themselves, very involved in Alencon society and in their parish, prayed together, dialogued, forgave each other, moved forward.
They first sought holiness in an inclination to religious life, not seeing
probably initially in marriage only a "sub-vocation". But they discovered little
little by little, in this sacrament, that their daily conjugal love, their carnal union full of
fertility and their family and social life were effective signs of the grace of the One they
intended to serve first. And the Church, recognizing in our time these fruits of holiness, has placed them together on the altars less perhaps as parents of a great known saint, than already because of their personal, conjugal and parental life.
Like many other teams before you, come to Alençon for your annual retreat. You will be able to draw on the itinerary and life choices of the first canonized couple
together, and taste a real communion of saints with them. Yes, Louis and Zélie are
supports for today's couples.

Visit of the Martin House

- November to March: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 14 p.m. to 17 p.m.
- April to October: 9 a.m. to 30 p.m. and 12 p.m. to 14 p.m.
- The house is closed on Mondays (except from June to September), Sunday morning and the month of January.

- Vigil of compassion and intercession for pilgrims: 1st Friday of the month from 20:30 p.m. to 21:30 p.m.

Weekends dedicated to Equipes Notre Dame
A retreat with the Notre Dame team is a precious time to renew ourselves internally, renew our alliance as a couple and re-welcome the grace of our sacrament of marriage.
The sanctuary offers you weekends every year, with or without your chaplain and in the company of the Martin family, with times of prayer, teachings, exchanges as a couple and as a mixed team.
