Discover the Martin family
Coming as a family to the sanctuary of Alençon is go to school of the holy spouses Louis and Zélie Martin, parents of 9 children (four of whom died in infancy), whose 5 daughters would become nuns. The best known of them is Saint Thérèse of the Child Jesus.
It is also discover the source of their marital and family happiness : the love that unites them, their unshakeable faith in God, through the joys and trials of their daily life. Their life completely impregnated with the Gospel.
You will be touched by this ordinary family, not spared by hardships but who knew how to put God in the first place in their daily lives. She will join each of your family members.
Several proposals
Visit of the Martin House
50 rue Saint-Blaise 61000 Alencon
- November to March: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 14 p.m. to 17 p.m.
- April to October: 9 a.m. to 30 p.m. and 12 p.m. to 14 p.m.
- The house is closed on Mondays (except from June to September), Sunday morning and the month of January.
Family Day
An event at the sanctuary which brings together around twenty families each year at the end of October (anniversary of the canonization of Saints Louis and Zélie).
On the weekend program, masses, teachings on the theme of the family, listening times and many activities for children.
An event not to be missed to experience a time of family rejuvenation, in the footsteps of the Martin family.
The Family of Louis and Zélie
Join the spiritual family of Louis and Zélie, the spiritual union of all the friends of Louis and Zélie Martin: of all those who recognize in them an example of Christian life.
Thus you enter the family of the Martin spouses, becoming their spiritual children and responding to the desire of Saint Zélie: “I wanted to have many children in order to raise them for Heaven. » They then guide you to Jesus, the Virgin Mary and Saint Joseph. This is why all the members consecrate themselves daily to the Holy Family.

- Mass: Tuesday to Saturday at 12 p.m. (as well as Monday from June to September and only Saturday in January)
- Rosary: Tuesday to Friday at 9 a.m. and Saturday at 11:30 a.m.
- Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament: every Thursday at 18:30 p.m. + animated adoration every 3rd Thursday of the month
- Vigil of compassion and intercession for pilgrims: 1st Friday of the month from 20:30 p.m. to 21:30 p.m.
- Worship group: 3rd Tuesday of the month at 20 p.m.
