The Visitation in the hearts of Louis and Zélie 4/4

It was at the Visitation of Caen that Léonie, the third of the daughters of Louis and Zélie, found her religious vocation. There she found a favorable environment despite her many weaknesses.

The kindness with which she was received there is reminiscent of the very positive pedagogy which was delivered within the Visiattion boarding school in Le Mans. Furthermore, not only did Louis and Zélie Martin entrust the education of their daughters to the Order of the Visitation, but they, like him, were enthusiastic readers of the two founders of the Order: Jeanne de Chantal and François de Sales.
