Ouest-France – The sisters sing on the balcony during confinement
Ouest-France, May 7, 2020
Every day at 17:45 p.m. since the start of confinement, three nuns, who have just arrived at the Alençon sanctuary, pray to music from their balcony. A nice way to break the sometimes heavy silence during this time of confinement.
There are three of them and they sing every day at 17:45 p.m. sharp from the balcony of the Alençon (Orne) sanctuary dedicated to Louis and Zélie Martin, rue Saint-Blaise. A religious song of course, sweet. Crystal clear, audible all the way down the street.
Sister Bianca and Sister Janaine are from Brazil and Sister Giorgia-Marie is Italian. All belong to a Brazilian Christian community and arrived successively in Alençon at the beginning of February.
