Welcoming a mission around the relics of the holy spouses Martin

Each year, the sanctuary of Alençon organizes several missions in the parishes and dioceses that request it. A delegation from the Sanctuary accompanies the reliquaries present in Alençon, including the large reliquary of Saints Louis and Zélie Martin. More than a devotional approach, it is first of all about real missions with teachings, times dedicated to children and young people, and evangelization through the mediation of the Saints. The times of veneration (liturgical time) are inserted in an approach of evangelization within the framework of a mission.

The prayer vigils around the relics of the first canonized couple in the history of the Church are particularly attractive. The intentions deposited are brought back to the conjugal room of Saints Louis and Zélie, placed in the cradle of little Thérèse.

The mission program is developed with the parish, the deanery or the diocese that hosts. Program in which schools, retirement homes, local sanctuaries, religious communities, etc. can also be integrated.
