Feast of Saints Louis and Zélie
Come to Alençon on July 12 and 13, 2024 to celebrate Saints Louis and Zélie Martin as a couple!
As a couple, you are welcome this year to the patronal festival of the Alençon sanctuary. Come and take part in the various activities to get to know the Martin couple better and entrust yourself to their intercession.
Program
Friday July 12
Meet at 10 a.m. in Alençon
10:30 a.m.: Car trips to Cuissai for men and to the hamlet of Carrouge in Semallé for women
Walk for men:
- 11 a.m.: Mass at the Cuissai church, then start of the walk
- 13 p.m.: Stop for lunch at Lonrai (picnic from the bag)
- Teaching then walking
- 16 p.m.: Stop for snack at the Chapel of the Child Jesus of Prague in Damigny. Writing a letter for his wife.
- 18 p.m.: Arrival on the Pont de la Rencontre in Alençon
March for women:
- 10:30 a.m.: Departure from Thérèse’s nanny’s house in Semallé. Visit the house of Rose Taillé then walk to the church of Semallé
- 12 p.m.: Mass at the church of Semallé
- 13 p.m.: Picnic in Semallé (taken from the bag).
- Teaching then walking
- 16 p.m.: Stop for a snack at the Congé pond. Writing a letter for her husband.
- 18 p.m.: Arrival on the Pont de la Rencontre in Alençon
19 p.m.: Dinner at the Hôtellerie des Pilgrims
20:30 p.m.: Prayer vigil at the Notre-Dame Basilica of Alençon with interventions by Mgr Feillet
Saturday, July 13
9 a.m.: Lauds
10 a.m.: Teaching by Mgr Feillet at the Saint-Pierre de Montsort church
11 a.m.: Mass at Saint-Pierre de Montsort, with renewal of the Alliance
12 p.m.: Friendship drink at the back of the church
12:30 p.m.: Buffet lunch at the Hôtellerie des Pilgrims
From 14 p.m.: Possibility of visiting the Martin family house, 50 rue Saint-Blaise
